Over the past two weeks, ESPN has compiled top 10 rankings at each position, voted on by scouts, executives, and coaches. Regarding wide receivers, Flowers did not crack the top 10; however, he was named an "honorable mention."

"Catch-and-run, start-and-stop is elite. Awareness of where people are when he catches the ball." -- high-ranking AFC personnel evaluator," the ranking said.

Zay Flowers ist kein Elite WR - das geben die Zahlen auch nicht her.

Oder vielleicht scheitert es auch wieder daran, was man als Elite bezeichnet. Bei mir sind das 5, max. 10 Spieler pro Position.
Bspw. bin ich als Panthers Fan ein riesiger Fan von DJ Moore, da er über Jahre gute Leistungen gebracht hat, aber nie Elite war und für mich in eine Güteklasse mit Zay Flowers fällt.

in welchem Team wäre Zay Flowers denn WR1 und man würde trotzdem in den Playoffs einigermaßen gut dastehen

und das ist halt unsinn....flowers gehört zu den besten WR der Liga, nicht umsonst zahlen die Ravens dem eine Haufen Asche :-D

wenn du Panthrersfan bis, freu dich über McMillan....der ist lt. PFF bislang Platz 7 bei den Receivern...knapp hinter Zay Flowers...

With that in mind, here are our wide receiver rankings heading into Week 6.

1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks (no change)
Among players with at least 20 targets this season, Smith-Njigba trails only Zay Flowers in yards per route run (3.94) and leads the league in receiving yards with 583. He suffered an ankle injury in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers, so that is something to monitor.

2. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons (up 3)
London had another strong showing in the Sunday Night Football loss to the Baltimore Ravens, hauling in seven of 10 targets for 118 yards. He ranks fourth at the position with a 91.0 PFF receiving grade and third in yards per route run (3.70), trailing only Smith-Njigba and Flowers.

3. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (down 1)
Lamb was held in check in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, catching just two of five targets for nine yards. He ranks third at the position with 507 receiving yards and sits inside the top five in both yards per route run and PFF receiving grade.

4. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints (up 2)
Olave has been the focal point of the Saints' passing game, with his 53 targets ranking second among all wide receivers. He trails only Smith-Njigba in receiving yards and ranks inside the top 10 in both PFF receiving grade and yards per route run.

5. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings (down 2)
Jefferson returned for the Vikings this week, hauling in six of seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown. However, he also lost a fumble, taking some of the shine off an otherwise solid performance. His 88.6 PFF receiving grade ranks eighth at the position so far this season.

6. Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens (down 2)
Flowers was without his starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson, and while his raw numbers were down, he still made an impact. He leads the NFL in yards per route run (4.45) and is averaging 15.6 yards per reception despite an average depth of target of just 8.4 yards.

7. Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (up 1)
McMillan didn't play this week but moves up one spot as Tee Higgins slides down the rankings. McMillan has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, with no drops on 26 catchable targets in 2026.

8. Mike Evans, San Francisco 49ers (up 1)
Evans ranks second among wide receivers with at least 20 targets in PFF receiving grade (92.1) and has been a perfect fit in the San Francisco offense. He is averaging 3.05 yards per route run and ranks third in the NFL with nine contested catches.

9. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams (up 1)
Nacua saw a whopping 24 targets in the Rams' Monday Night Football loss to the Buffalo Bills, hauling in 17 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown. Despite missing a couple of games, he has racked up 337 receiving yards and is tied for sixth in yards per route run.

10. Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (down 3)
Higgins had his worst game of the season in the Bengals‘ win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, catching just two of four targets for 22 yards. One incompletion came on his second drop of the year. Despite the quiet outing, he has enjoyed a strong start to the season and ranks ninth at the position with an 88.3 PFF receiving grade through five weeks.

11. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals (no change)
Chase produced his second-highest receiving yardage total of the season, but he has yet to eclipse the 100-yard mark in a single game in 2026. He made another spectacular grab, though, and it feels like only a matter of time before he turns a high-volume outing into an eye-popping stat line.

12. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles (no change)
Smith has missed the Eagles' past two games but saw enough volume in the first three weeks to meet the target threshold. He got off to a strong start, averaging 2.24 yards per route run and earning a 90.2 PFF receiving grade that ranks seventh at the position.

13. Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers (up 2)
Watson is one of two Packers wide receivers enjoying a breakout season in 2026. His PFF receiving grade has been hurt by three dropped passes, but he ranks fifth among wide receivers with 474 receiving yards and second with six touchdowns.

14. Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars (no change)
Washington bounced back after a couple of quiet weeks, hauling in six of eight targets for 124 yards and two touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles. He ranks 10th at the position in PFF receiving grade through the first five weeks of the season.

15. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions (down 2)
St. Brown still leads all wide receivers with 55 targets, but his production has dipped over the past three weeks after he racked up 209 receiving yards in the first two games of the season. He also fumbled this week, which hurt his PFF grade.

Wir kommen da nicht auf einen Nenner und ich freue mich über McMillan

Die Ravens müssen ihm viel Geld bezahlen, weil keiner der Elite wr nach Baltimore will. Lamar ist kein WR friendly QB und das ist ein Problem. Also ja, er ist gut. Nie bestritten. Aber die Elite steht gar nicht zur Wahl, deshalb muss man aus Alternativlosigkeit mehr zahlen muss, als ein Flowers bei anderen Teams kriegen würde.

Freue mich trotzdem über solche Diskussionen. Gerne mehr davon
